By default, Revit uses straight panels resulting in faceted glazing when drawn around a curve. One option for curved glazing in Revit is to use a basic wall style:
Start by creating a basic wall style which is 24mm thick and set the material to glass.
Draw the curtain wall system and then in the properties, set the default panel type to be the new basic wall style. Basic wall styles will follow the curve rather than being faceted.

Some of the issues you might face are: Missing Links, Performance issues, Permission issues. To take a model off the network requires a few simple steps of preparation and testing. If you place a column adjacent to a wall it will automatically join the two elements together.

If you need to show the column as a separate element to the wall, click the Unjoin Geometry icon from the toolbars...

Revit seems to make it hard work to work out the task of closing a workset enabled file.
If you are working on a local copy and you make some changes but then decide you dont want to save, Revit wont let you relinquish the borrowed worksets unless you save to central.
Here is the process for getting around it:
